Scholarship Application
Delegate Dylan Behler is excited to open the application for our 2025 scholarship! Our scholarship program is open to all District 30A residents who attend or plan to attend a college or graduate degree. To be eligible, you must currently attend or plan to attend a Maryland college, university, or private career school. Private career schools must have the Maryland Higher Education Commission’s approval to operate and be accredited by a national accrediting association approved by the US. Department of Education. You may also attend a nursing school if the Commission has approved the curriculum.
Because these scholarships are need-based and reviewed on a case-by-case basis, you must complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or a MSFAA (for DACA/undocumented students) before completing this application. Please upload the Student Aid Report in the education information section of this application. If you have not yet filed your FAFSA application, visit http://studentaid.gov to apply.
To be considered, applications must be fully completed on or before April 30, 2024 at 11:59pm EST. The fully completed application must be submitted via this form, returned to the office, or sent via email to dylan.behler@house.state.md.us.
The student must also create an MDCAPS account with the Maryland Higher Education Commission (MHEC). In order to complete this application, we will need an MHEC ID. If you have not created an MDCAPS or received an MHEC ID, visit the following website and create a new Student User Account:
