Delegate Scholarship

I was able to afford to go to college as a first-generation college student, in part, because I received a Delegate Scholarship - so it is such an honor to be able to award a Delegate Scholarship to college students and soon-to-be college students!

Scholarship program is open to all District 30A residents who attend or plan to attend a college or graduate institution. To be eligible, you must currently attend or plan to attend a Maryland college, university, or private career school. (Private career schools must have the Maryland Higher Education Commission’s approval to operate and be accredited by a national accrediting association approved by the US. Department of Education. You may also attend a nursing school if the Commission has approved the curriculum.)

You must complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or a MSFAA (for students ineligible to complete the FAFSA - this is also called the MHEC One-App) BEFORE completing this application. Please upload the Student Aid Report in the education information section of this application. If you have not yet filed your FAFSA application, visit http://studentaid.gov to apply.

Only the student applying for the scholarship should complete this form.

To be considered, applications must be fully completed on or before May 1.
